Blue mountains.

Last thursday (valentine's day) Gideon surprised me with a weekend away to the Blue Mountains! So, on Saturday morning, we packed our bags and headed off. We had a lovely time seeing the breath taking views, gazing at the immaculate scenery, and enjoying copious amounts of food and good times. 

Our hotel, however, looked like something out of a horror movie (see the photo on my instagram here) it was nice with a breakfast buffet and all, but still... I didn't want to wander the corridors at night. 

Anyways, on Sunday we went to explore the Blue Mountains National Park, so naturally I took my baby (my camera- a Nikon D7000) and went shooting (photos, of course... not bullets). There was just so much to take in, and i'm still refining my style of photography (I'm always learning and open to new ways to capture moments), so here (scroll down) are some shots I took over the weekend. I hope you like them.

P.s some of the photos are taken by Gideon. He also has a passion for art and photography. It's a journey we're taking together. 


























We had an amazing time away together.

    These are great photos Clarissa. Have you guys moved or are you just around the corner from us (I sound like a mega stalker) ? we should orchestrate bumping into each other at some point.

      Thanks so much! I loved taking the photos. We're living in Parramatta and are moving somewhere else (don't know where) soon. Definitely we should accidentally on purpose start a sporadic conversation. That would be awesome.

      Yeah we're in Parra too. If you are in the place Neil and Jen were in before, then we are about 2 minutes away from you. I hope that things go well with the relocation though, I hate moving. More than a lot of things.

      We do (in the process of moving from there) live in their old apartment! except now it's plagued by mould so we're moving the hell out of there. I knew there was a reason G & I kept getting sick. The move is going ok. We're bummed about it but, eh. Such is life, I guess. I hope things are peachy on your end x
