My niece Louisa Matilde (named after my Grandmother, Matilde, her Great Grandmother) was born early January and she is such a lovely addition to our family. She is beautiful.
In our church, we always celebrate the birth of a baby by having the father of the baby perform a baby blessing, to guide the child and to give him or her blessings to follow them throughout their lives.
My brother performed this blessing on Sunday morning and it brought me so much joy to hear him bless his little daughter so that she will be guided safely through life. He is a wonderful father.
Lou lou's mother, Charmaine, is such a beautiful, strong example for her two daughters. And with her husband, will raise these two young girls (and hopefully some others, hehe) to be wonderful human beings.
I'm sure of it.

P.s even though Ysabel and Owen are boyfriend and girlfriend now, they're not allowed to be when they're older.

Clarissa, I can't beleive how amazing these are; you have captured the very essence of our daughters- especially Ysabel. Her beautiful curly hair, her messy cupcake mouth, her touching owens ear, and the list goes on. This is what makes you and will make you a great photographer. Anyone can take a photo, but it takes someone with talent to watch for and capture those very intimate details. I thank you from the top to bottom of my heart for taking these and the family shots the other week. These photos will be cherished throughout our lives and the lives of our childrens children. XO
