What inspires you?

Photographs inspire me. They make me strive to be a better photographer; a photographer I want to be.

Below is the photo that inspires me the most.

There's something so mysterious about her gaze. Her innocence is questioned until you realise the cigarette is actually just bubblegum. But she knows how to hold such an object. She's influenced by the world around her. This photo shows her transition from child to adult and her confidence through this journey.

This photograph inspires me to capture these moments in time such as the gaze of the subject and, more importantly, telling a story through a photograph.
