Colab. with Carla!

Wednesday, 26 June 2013

So, I have a friend named Carla.

We've known each other since the moment I moved to the area, which was in 2002. We were in year 6 at Winston Hills Public School together.

We've gone through every awkward phase together. Her with her colourful plastic jewellery phase to me in my all black emo stage with accompanying emo fringe. Awesome.

We've gone through highs and lows together and experienced the good and the bad.

Anyways, I took some photos for her blog yesterday and she's going to be featuring them in her blog which you can find...

I hope you can find her blog because the link I added wasn't too big. She blogs all about design stuff, fashion and inspiration pieces, make up and her everyday life. It makes for a really interesting read.

She's got some pretty cool stuff in her room, & her jewellery collection & ability to piece items together is impressive. She's always had that eye for knowing design and fusion. I guess that's why she specialises in that sort of thing. Design. Carla. It just goes together.

You'll be able to check out the blog post soon.

Until then...

Stay classy.

Plans for the future.

Wednesday, 5 June 2013

I'm on "holidays" from uni and its given me a lot of time to think. I put holidays in quotation marks because I actually have assignments due. My university still calls it holidays...

anyway~

I've been thinking about my future-- our future (mine & Gideon's). We have so many plans we want to fulfil together. Plans that involve growth, discipline and maturity.

We're aiming to buy a house by January. It's going to be tough but we're determined to make things happen. Seriously. We want our own place with our names on it. A place to call home.

We also want to travel the world and visit the places of the Earth where dreams are made of.

Before then, I'll finish my Masters and he'll be in a career that will bring him the quality of life he's always wanted. He wants fulfilment in his work and I'm sure it will give him that. I then want to explore my creative outlets too, which should be exciting.

Then, we want to move. We want to find a life for ourselves and tick a box from our bucket list. Preferably we would like to move to New York, where we went on our honeymoon, as we felt a connection to that city that we've never felt anywhere else.

It's calling for us.

We're still pretty new to this whole ~married~ thing so we're reaching for the stars with our goals and ambitions, but here's hoping that the universe is on our side and that we'll be able to make the most out of our life together.

What are your plans for the future?
Kids?
A house?
Learning how to cross stitch?

Until then,

Stay classy.

Our future home.
