There's only 100 days left...

Well, 99 days left.

Of what, you ask?

Of my single, unmarried life! I answer.

Yes, I'm getting married on the 22nd of December 2012 (a day after the world is supposed to end, but lucky I don't believe in that crap... ha...). Anyways, yeah, I'm getting married.

Getting the ol' ball an' chain shackled to my ankle. Eh... eh... eh. But in all seriousness, I'm so happy.
No, seriously. I'm marrying Gideon! He's everything to me. Really, he is.

We've been together since the 1st of January 2010. I will never forget that moment when he asked me, "So, will you be my girl?". I will never forget our first kiss at midnight & the butterflies we both had when we could finally reveal that we were each other's. I will never forget how amazing our relationship has been. From dating... and dating... and dating... to one fateful night in April (15th) when he took me to the city on a night I was meant to be working. "We'll go for a drive and have dessert" he said "it will be fun" he said. Unbeknownst to me, my life was about to change.

We got dessert, it was yummy. We took a drive to my favourite spot in North Sydney, it was lovely. "Go take some photos of the bridge, i'll just be a second" he said as he popped the boot. Suspicious me asked, "why did you pop the boot?" he answered, "oh, it was an accident!". IT WAS NO ACCIDENT. I went and took some photos & he left for the boot again! This time I knew he was up to something. I heard some shuffling and then it was silent. I turned around. My boyfriend had knelt down on one knee with a brand new Tiffany & Co bag & a box of cupcakes saying "Will You Marry Me?". After about 10 minutes of me saying "Are you serious?", looking around to see if it was a joke and Gideon with terror in his eyes as if I was about to decline his offer, I finally said yes! and we unravelled the the box together. The ring was amazing & Gideon did such a good job. I couldn't have asked for more.

Thinking of these two moments in my life make me so happy and make me hopeful of what we're going to be doing on the 22nd of December. It will be a memory i'll forever cherish just like my other two. Gideon & I will be sealed for time and all eternity in the Sydney, Australia Temple at 11:00am. I cannot wait. It will be the most significant and most amazing moment of my life.

I cannot wait. Only 99 days of waiting to go.
